What started as a small operation in Green Bay, Wisconsin has grown into a nationwide network, built on a simple promise: take care of the customer and do the job right.

Today, that commitment still drives everything we do. From individual vehicles to full commercial fleets, our team delivers consistent, high-quality service backed by experience, attention to detail, and a focus on keeping you moving.

Our Story

Pomp's Tire Service was founded in 1939 by Andrew "Sparky" Pomprowitz in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After a devastating fire destroyed the original facility in 1942, Sparky rebuilt the business while serving in World War II, with support from his family.

In 1952, the company expanded into tire recapping and relocated to its current Green Bay East location. Following Sparky's passing in 1964, the business continued to grow under new leadership, beginning with an additional location in Shawano, Wisconsin.

From those early years, Pomp's has grown into one of the nation's leading tire service providers, with over 220 locations across 19 states, 25 retread facilities, a wheel manufacturing operation, and more than 3,500 team members.
